17th Century Spanish Vargueno

Here is a fantastic antique Spanish vargueno, papillero or table cabinet c1650. This Walnut cabinet is loaded with bone inlays. The carved fronts of the interior drawers and cupboards are marvels of miniature architectural design. Drawer pulls are in the form of the scallop shell, signifying the owner was a member of a religious pilgrimage (Children's Crusade). Measurements are 43" wide, 18" deep, and 55.5" tall.
